Homemade.

Our brand. Gosh, that's crazy to say! We decided to start Homemade because I have always wanted to own my own business. A place where I could do what I wanted and have creative control and learn and fail and work hard for me and my family, without depending on other people. I had dabbled in a few different industries but always seem to gravitate back to things like what we're building with Homemade.

Homemade will carry only handmade products made by us, our family. We are starting off with soap, bath bombs, and a few other body products. Once the growing season starts, we'll be adding canned and preserved foods. All made by us from the produce grown on our farm and then processed by us, with the goal of helping to reduce the waste from our farm and using everything we grow somehow. Things that I learned how to do as a kid from my grandparents and then have continued to start teaching my kids. When food is homemade it tastes so much better! When you make things homemade from scratch its so much more rewarding.

We'll also be using this blog and our other social media platforms to teach. We want to teach you how to do all this stuff too. So that you can see the processes and the work that goes into it. But also, to show you that if you want to can your own food or make your own jams and jellies (and other things) that it's really simple with some guidance.

We have been planning for years to do something like this and actively working on it for months behind the scenes. We are so thankful for your support and love. We love seeing everything everyone shares and says! Here's to jumping in with both feet and doing the things that scare you! We can't wait to take you along for the ride!
